What is RUF?

"The glory of God is humanity fully alive, and the life of humanity is the vision of God." - Irenaeus of Lyons

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Kennesaw State University exists to reach students for Christ by proclaiming the gospel in word and deed and to equip students through life on life discipleship to love and serve Jesus Christ and His Church in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area and beyond all for God’s glory and all by His grace. Our goal, therefore, is for RUF to be a rest stop for tired Christians and a safe place for skeptics to be exposed to the truth of the gospel in a safe place to ask hard questions. We pray that you will join in our endeavor to make known the beauty and love of Christ at Kennesaw State University and that you will have fun in the process as you grow in God’s mercy and grace.

RUF seeks to communicate the gospel of Christ by sending ordained campus ministers to serve on the college campus, to build Christ's church and to equip students to live all of life under the Lordship of Christ. RUF brings to the campus a heart for ministry, a love for the campus, and convictions that are well formed, deeply held, and which allow them to bring a fully-orbed ministry to students.

Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF is a place where you can explore Christianity and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow him in community with others at Kennesaw State. We are here for the convinced and the unconvinced, the lost, the found, the burned, the bored, cynical, and Christ follower. We invite you, no matter where you find yourself on the spiritual spectrum to come participate in the life and ministry of RUF and see what the gospel is all about.

Come, relax, and consider the overlooked message of true spirituality by examining the person and work of Jesus Christ. On Tuesdays at 8 p.m. in Fellowship Hall of the First United Lutheran Church on Campus Loop Road (Across from the West Parking Lot) throughout the spring semester.
